I'm not sure what it is exactly that is so special about owning a movie & or TV themed car. I have and still own a couple of regular classic cars, but there is nothing more special, fun and exciting about owning one that you have seen on film. It's also fun when you out on a little drive with your theme car, to see how much others seem to enjoy seeing it also. I absolutely love my "Death Proof" Nova, that is the one car I will never sell. I know what it's like to get rid of a car that you love. It was my very first Movie theme car. I didn't have a second car at the time and it started to break down a lot and so my wife at the time had me sell it. that was one of the biggest regrets of my life. The car is gone and my first wife was gone not long after that actually. I still miss her ( the car not the ex-wife). My first theme car was a 77 Pontiac Trans Am. It was way back 1978 when I first saw Smokey & The Bandit and I knew I had to have a car like that. I worked, saved, begged & borrowed until I was finally able to own one by the summer of 1981 (I was 18 years old then). Here are a couple of pictures of it: If anyone else has some pictures of their first Theme car it would be fun to see them.

Very nice looking Starsky & Hutch car. How long have you had that one?

I had it about 3 years and its gone now.
I have KITT now, and a retired 2001 Cop car (which I'm selling to fund an A-Team van project).

Wow! Sounds like you went from one very nice recognizable to another. The A-Team van will be a fun project. Lots of guns etc to be able to display with it. My wife & I are doing the black 67 Impala from the TV show Supernatural and it will have a nice array of weaponry that we will be able to display also.
